Today is the final day of the summer break and I'd say it was pretty good time.

Me and my family got to visit the state of Oklahoma, which was the very first time I was outside of Texas which was awesome! We later visited the state of Louisiana and Houston which were some pretty great trips.

As well as that I managed to make some updates to my personal website, Abe's Fridge.

I do wish I had drawn something this summer or even learn how to make an animation, but hopefully you'll get to see more of my art this year.

Tomorrow will be the beginning of my junior year at high school!

About a year ago, I once had a dream that I found to be really interesting. Here's how it went:

It took place in a video game. The game looked like it would be played on GameCube. I cannot remember what the gameplay was but it was some type of open world game and it had something to do with the environment. The player character looked similar to Chibi-Robo, albeit completely maroon colored. The world the player was on looked like a floating island in space similar to Super Mario Galaxy. The game had a real-time system, and this is where the most interesting thing comes to play. If the day was 365, then a cutscene would play showing the player's world floating in space, then a voice appears, acknowledging the fact that 365 days have passed before returning to the gameplay. Then when you moved the player camera up, you could see the Sun falling onto the world, as weirdly ominous music (sounded like The Sea of Eden from Earthbound) comprised of Pikmin dying started to play. That's all I can remember from the dream.

Today was the last day of school as a sophomore. I'd say this year was pretty good, though some of the classes were just insufferable to go through.

What do I plan on doing for this summer? Well, me and my family are going to a three day trip to Oklahoma, which would mark the first time I'd go outside of Texas. And after that trip, me and my dad will go boat racing. Other than those plans, I'll continue practicing for cross country as I did back in 2021 and 2022.

I will try to keep updating my personal website, Abe's Fridge, since I kinda left that site in the dust for like two months. As well as working on personal projects, which will mainly be art-related though I have been thinking of making an animation.

I pretty much just want this summer (as well as this year) to be the summer where I actually get to do the things that I've wanted to do.
